Assistant Restaurant Manager

$55,000 - $65,000 annually + bonus opportunity

Lead a one-of-a-kind wine and culinary experience that celebrates the Okanagan.


Located in the heart of Kelowna International Airport's stunning new departures terminal, Okanagan Vintners Exchange Gastrobar showcases the very best of British Columbia wine country. Featuring wines from some of the region's most celebrated wineries, our concept offers travelers an authentic taste of place before they take flight.

We're seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager who combines strong restaurant leadership with a passion for hospitality, food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences.


What You'll Do

  • Lead daily front-of-house and kitchen operations in a high-volume, full-service restaurant and wine bar
  • Create an exceptional guest experience that reflects the hospitality and culinary reputation of the Okanagan Valley
  • Coach, develop, and inspire a team of service and culinary professionals
  • Drive food quality, food safety, beverage execution, and operational excellence
  • Manage inventory, scheduling, labour, and financial performance
  • Support merchandising, wine presentation, and promotional initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with airport, company, and regulatory standards


What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a full-service dining environment
  • Experience managing bar operations and beverage programs
  • Wine knowledge or a genuine interest in developing wine expertise strongly preferred
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and creating outstanding guest experiences
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
  • Experience with inventory, labour management, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Culinary knowledge or chef-driven restaurant experience is an asset
