Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment to load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills in equipment operation and warehouse logistics will directly contribute to our company’s success.

Duties

  • Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse
  • Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to OSHA and safety protocols
  • Conduct inventory management activities including barcode scanning for logistics accuracy and updating warehouse management systems
  • Pick orders accurately using order picker equipment and ensure proper manual handling of materials for heavy lifting tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment by stacking pallets and managing warehouse distribution areas
  • Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime
  • Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments and preparing items for dispatch

Shift Details

  • Timing: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5:30PM
  • Pay: $19/hr
  • Location: North York, ON M3J 2X1

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
