Child Psychotherapist / Social Worker (MSW)

Lift Lock Therapy is a growing clinic that combines play and therapy to support families through their most difficult challenges. We see a wide range of concerns facing kids and teens, including trauma, behavioural issues, ADHD, self-esteem, anxiety, adoption, and more. We are looking to expand our team to provide further support for families in the Peterborough / Kawartha area. If you are a clinician who is ready to do meaningful work with kids, we would love to hear from you.

Here’s what we take care of:

  • Clinical supervision
  • Dedicated admin support

Pay ranges from $87.50-$105/hour

This role only has 3 expectations so you can focus on providing amazing services to your clients. You will:

  • Provide in-person psychotherapy services for kids, teens, and their parents / caregivers
  • Maintain up-to-date files for each client, including session notes and intake forms
  • Engage in client communications with relevant third parties as needed

At a minimum, you’ll need the following to qualify:

  • An active certificate of registration with the CRPO or the OCSWSSW
  • Maintain active liability insurance
  • Provide a Vulnerable Sector Check

To sweeten the deal, show us:

  • Experience working with kids, teens, and parents
  • Certificates for training specific to play therapy and/or therapy for kids
  • Skills and experience using Jane and Google Suite
  • Availability on evenings and weekends
  • Something you experienced as a therapist that confirmed you were in the right field of work
