The Role:

We are seeking a friendly, approachable, and service-oriented Beauty Sales Advisor. In this role, your primary focus is hospitality and customer connection. You are not just ringing up purchases; you are a beauty consultant, an active listener, and the welcoming face of our store. If you excel at reading customers' needs, sharing product knowledge, and providing a VIP experience, we want you on our team!

What You Will Do:

• Exceptional Customer Service: Greet every customer with a warm smile. Create a welcoming, pressure-free shopping environment where customers feel valued and understood.
• Product Expertise & Education: Master our K-Beauty and J-Beauty product lines. Confidently explain ingredients, demonstrate skincare routines, and provide tailored recommendations based on individual skin types.
• Active Selling: Utilize effective and polite sales techniques, such as cross-selling and upselling, to meet store sales goals while ensuring the customer's needs are genuinely met.
• Store Operations: Maintain an impeccably clean and organized sales floor. Ensure all testers are hygienic and displays are fully stocked. Process transactions accurately at the POS system.

What We Are Looking For:

• Service-First Mindset: High emotional intelligence (EQ), patience, and outstanding interpersonal skills. You genuinely enjoy talking to people and helping them look and feel their best.
• Experience: Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality is required. (Experience in the beauty/cosmetics industry is a significant advantage).
• Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with Asian beauty trends and an understanding of the diverse beauty preferences within the Ottawa community.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory to effectively serve our diverse customer base. Conversational ability in a second language (such as French, Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean) is highly valued and considered a strong asset.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods on the sales floor, handle stockroom duties, and safely lift up to 30 lbs.
• Team Player: Reliable, punctual, and willing to support team members during busy mall retail hours.
