Full job description

Western Used is looking for a General Sales Manager who will be responsible for used vehicle operations in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. This leadership role will work closely with all local GM's and sales managers of Western Toyota, Western Mazda and Western Kia, to manage the full lifecycle of pre-owned vehicles while leading a high-performing team. As General Sales Manager, you’ll have the autonomy to drive performance, build a high-performing team, and create an exceptional customer experience, all within the support of Western Group of Companies. If you’re motivated by growth, energized by the automotive industry, and ready to take ownership of results, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful and lasting contribution. This position will include a generous compensation package - salary and bonus structure.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the sales team at Western Used
  • Manage inventory strategy (sourcing, appraisals, pricing, aging)
  • Oversee reconditioning process and improve time-to-line
  • Drive sales performance, gross profit, and inventory turn
  • Support deal structuring and maintain a strong presence on the floor
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality customer experience


What We’re Looking For
  • Automotive sales leadership experience (used vehicle experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and pricing strategy
  • Results-driven with strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Service and F&I
