About Concierge Care Calgary

Concierge Care Calgary is a premium private home care company founded by healthcare professionals with over 100 years of combined experience. Our mission is to provide peace of mind to vulnerable individuals and their families by helping them age safely and gracefully in their own homes.

We are not a traditional home care agency.

We prioritize:

  • Continuity of care
  • Relationship-based matching
  • Cultural and personality alignment
  • Client choice and dignity
  • Never cancelling a shift

Our scheduling philosophy reflects our care philosophy — thoughtful, relational, and highly personalized.

The Role

We are seeking a Part-Time Client Care & Scheduling Coordinator who understands that this role is not simply about filling shifts — it is about building the right matches between caregivers and clients.

This is an operationally critical role that requires strong judgment, organization, and calm problem-solving under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caregiver schedules on an ongoing and forward-looking basis
  • Match caregivers to clients based on training, personality, language, cultural fit, and availability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records
  • Monitor caregiver availability and proactively anticipate coverage needs
  • Coordinate caregiver introductions when new assignments are required
  • Provide after-hours on-call support for urgent call-ins or schedule changes
  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, caregivers, and leadership
  • Support occasional administrative projects as assigned

We never cancel shifts. If a caregiver is unable to attend a shift, you will be responsible for finding appropriate coverage that aligns with the client’s care plan and preferences.

Who You Are

You are:

  • Calm and solutions-focused under pressure
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Relationally intelligent — you value continuity of care
  • Comfortable making thoughtful judgment calls
  • Professional in both written and verbal communication
  • Able to work independently
  • Willing to participate in an evening on-call rotation

You understand that client-centered care requires flexibility, creativity, and commitment.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited HCA or LPN program preferred
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Ability to make effective decisions in time-sensitive situations
  • Previous scheduling or healthcare coordination experience is an asset

Schedule

  • Part-time (12–15 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday
  • On-call rotation (evenings/weekends as required)
  • In-person role based in Calgary
