Overview
Hickory Ridge Golf & Country Club is seeking a Full Time Line Cook/Part Time Event Cook to join our team as we launch our newly renovated dining space and bar, The Woodhull Room.

The role is ideal for an experienced cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced but positive kitchen environment, preparing quality casual dining for members, guests, tournaments, and private events.

Exceptional hours. Typically between the hours of 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Prepare and execute menu items with consistency and quality
  • Assist with menu planning and seasonal features
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area according to sanitation guidelines
  • Monitor food presentation and portion control to uphold restaurant standards
  • Handle customer feedback professionally, addressing concerns related to food service or meal quality
  • Lead by example in serving customers with professionalism and hospitality

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant or kitchen management within the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing kitchen operations
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction
