OPEN HOUSE WALK-IN HIRING EVENT – COOKS

Gate Gourmet – Richmond, BC

We are hosting an Open House Walk-In Hiring Event for full-time Cook positions at our flight kitchen near Vancouver International Airport.

Come meet our hiring team for an in-person interview. No appointment is required – walk-ins are welcome!

EVENT DETAILS

Date: Friday, October 2, 2026
Location: Gate Gourmet – 6260 Miller Rd, Richmond, BC V7B 1B3

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We are hiring:

  • 1st Cooks
  • 2nd Cooks
  • General Cooks

Pay Rate: $23.19 – $30.95 per hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare food according to recipes, menu specifications, and airline requirements
  • Maintain food quality and presentation standards
  • Follow food safety procedures and company policies
  • Operate commercial kitchen equipment
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, catering, or high-volume kitchen environment
  • Culinary certification or Red Seal is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
