Full job description

Lavash Restaurant is looking for an experienced Line Cook with a strong background in Middle Eastern mezze, grilled meats, and kebab preparation.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in authentic food, works well in a fast-paced kitchen, and understands the importance of consistency, presentation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and plate Middle Eastern mezze, appetizers, salads, and main courses
  • Grill and prepare kebabs and other traditional Middle Eastern dishes
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
  • Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and kitchen setup
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Previous experience cooking in a Middle Eastern or similar restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern mezze and kebab preparation
  • Experience plating dishes in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
  • Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred:

  • Ability to speak Arabic
  • Experience with traditional charcoal or grill-cooked meats
  • Food Handler Certification
