We are seeking a skilled and passionate Casual/On-Call Cook to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an institutional dining setting and take pride in preparing and presenting high-quality meals. Compassion and comfort in working with the elderly are essential, as our dining services contribute to the well-being of our residents.
Casual/On Call:
Monday to Sunday: 0530h to 1330h/ 0900h to 1700h/ 0930h to 1730h
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Commercial cook training preferred
- Red Seal Journeyman Chef certification is an asset but not required
- Relevant experience in an institutional dining service setting
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are an asset
- Strong attention to detail and a flair for food presentation
- Ability to work with empathy and patience in a setting that serves elderly individuals
