Full job description

Restaurant Cook

We are looking for a reliable and experienced cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food according to restaurant standards
  • Operate commercial cooking equipment safely and efficiently
  • Handle food preparation and daily kitchen prep
  • Maintain consistent food quality and portioning
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Previous restaurant or commercial kitchen experience
  • Experience working with high-heat ovens or tandoor ovens is an asset
  • Comfortable working around hot cooking equipment
  • Strong understanding of kitchen cleanliness and food safety
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently
  • Willing to learn and follow established procedures
  • Able to handle a fast-paced working environment

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
