Overview

Join as a Part Time Home Cook, where your culinary skills and passion for food will shine! In this role, you’ll be the heart of our kitchen, preparing delicious indian vegetarian meals and ensuring exceptional food service for us. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where everyone enjoys high-quality, freshly prepared dishes. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those eager to showcase their cooking talents while balancing other commitments.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of indian vegetarian food items with precision, consistency, and flair, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
  • Maintain inventory levels by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards and local food safety laws.

Experience

  • Previous food service experience in a Home or similar setting is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals looking for part time permanent role. The ideal candidate should have own car or be willing to walk for 1 km as location is that far from public transport. Good communication skills in punjabi are preferred.

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 8.0 per week

Work Location: In person
