This isn't a cleaning job. It's your own cleaning business — with a proven platform behind it.

If you've thought about working for yourself but didn't want to build marketing, bookings, and a client list from scratch, this is for you. You bring the cleaning skill and your own business. We bring the clients and the platform.

For 18 years, Polished has connected skilled cleaners with good clients across Winnipeg, Regina, and surrounding areas. We now contract with independent cleaners who want to build something of their own — their own hours, their own service area, their own rates.

You run your business. We run the platform.

How the contract works

  • You're an independent contractor, not an employee. You invoice us for completed work and look after your own taxes, business registration, and GST where it applies.
  • You set your rates. Every assignment comes with a proposed rate. Accept it, decline it, or propose your own.
  • You choose your assignments. Decline any assignment with three business days' written notice. No explanation required.
  • You set your availability and service area. Take the work that fits your life and your map.
  • You supply your own equipment and cleaning products. Your kit, your choice of products, your call on how the work gets done.
  • If a client cancels late, you keep 60% of the cancellation fee.

What you're paid

For every job you complete:

  • 60% of the job value
  • An allowance for wearing the Polished branded shirt
  • An allowance toward your liability insurance, if you carry your own
  • Less a 15% marketing fee, capped at $50 per week

You also keep 100% of tips — direct to you, visible in your own dashboard.

Payments are sent to your bank through Stripe.

  • Advertising and lead generation, so clients come to you instead of you hunting for them
  • Client sign-up, estimates, and job scoping done before you arrive
  • Scheduling, client communication, and follow-ups
  • Reviews, tips, and check-ins managed on your behalf
  • Keys, entry codes, and access arranged ahead of time
  • Your dashboard, and the systems that keep it all running

Who this is for

Experienced cleaners who have already run their own paid work.
