  • Oversee personnel security clearances processing and maintenance according to applicable national programs, and ensure secure handling, storage and transmission of protected/classified information.
  • Coordinate Nuclear business participation in the Business Resilience & Recovery Program (BRRP): update Emergency Response Plans (ERP), Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and test/validate arrangements via exercises.
  • Lead the dissemination of threat intelligence relevant to nuclear facilities, projects and supply chains; maintain proactive monitoring for emerging risks.
  • Chair/participate in the on‑call Duty Officer rotation (24/7) and lead major incident investigations when required.
  • Reports to the Vice-President Global Security.

About you

  • College/University education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in nuclear security, corporate security, law enforcement or military; including leadership roles within commercial nuclear operations/projects.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing security programs and obligations, including personnel security, facility security and contract security compliance.
  • In‑depth knowledge of nuclear‑sector clearance regimes and regulatory programs across our operating jurisdictions (e.g., facility and personnel clearances, controlled goods, document safeguarding requirements).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government security clearances required for nuclear contracts and facilities (e.g., Level II / Secret and NATO Secret), as well as any other clearances determined by national Contract Security Programs.
  • Strengths in risk management, business resilience & recovery, and leading multi‑stakeholder training/exercise programs (e.g., tabletop, complex simulations).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, tact and diplomacy; bilingual French & English essential.

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain Level II / Secret and NATO Secret government security clearances, and any other clearances required by national programs for nuclear contracts and facilities in jurisdictions where we operate. Bilingual French & English is essential.
