Work Hours: 7-8 hours a day, typically between Monday - Saturday and will be assigned weekly

Compensation: $18-$20/hour
Benefits & Time Off:

• Extended Benefits: None at this time.
• Vacation Pay: 4% vacation pay (2 weeks equivalent) is added to each pay cheque (accrued from Day 1).
• Statutory Holidays: Paid per Alberta Employment Standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and physically capable individual to join our team in a role that involves a mix of driving and plant work. This position is essential in ensuring timely and professional delivery of mats, linens, and other products to our business clients across Calgary and the surrounding areas. The focus for this role is driving and delivering items, with the remaining time dedicated to core plant operations such as folding linens and processing.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Logistics

• Safely load, transport, and unload mats, linens, and cleaning supplies to business clients.
• Follow scheduled delivery routes efficiently while maintaining on-time performance.
• Ensure accuracy of deliveries and proper handling of items to maintain quality standards.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition.

Customer Service & Communication

• Provide friendly and professional service to clients during deliveries.
• Communicate with the office team regarding delivery status, delays, or customer feedback.
• Address minor client concerns on-site and escalate issues as needed.

Physical & Operational Tasks

• Lift and move heavy mats and laundry bundles, ensuring proper handling techniques.
• Perform plant work as a core, required function, including laundry services (washing, drying, and folding) and general processing.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and completed routes.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a delivery, logistics, or warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• A professional and customer-friendly attitude.
• Knowledge of Calgary and surrounding areas is an asset.
