Full job description

Metro College of Technology is a private career college in Toronto, Ontario. Since 1998 it has successfully been providing career-focused training programs to the public. The college trains its students with state of the art knowledge and skills to meet today's dynamic job market demand. The programs at Metro College of Technology cover engineering & technology, information technology, accounting and payroll admin, data science, network and cloud administration and cloud computing.

Network/Cloud Administration is one of the popular programs offered by the college. Currently we are looking for a part-time instructors to teach the following subjects:

  • Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure
  • Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services

Here is a list your duties:
a. Preparing teaching plans;
b. Preparing the lab for the network class;
c. Delivering course instructions to students and supervising student lab activities;
d. Monitoring student’s learning progress and offering them support when needed;
e. Preparing and marking students’ assignments, tests and exams;
f. Checking student attendance and reporting academic progress/final assessment outcomes to the college.

You must meet the following requirements:
1. University degree, Master degree preferred.

2. Holding certificate: AZ-800/801, or certified as a MCA, MCSA/MCSE
3. have proven successful work experience and excellent teaching experience in network administration
4. have good knowledge, skills and work experience with Computer Hardware, Computer Operating Systems, Microsoft Windows and Servers, MS Azure,
5. have passion for teaching and enjoying working with students

6. are able to motivate students and find ways to improve the quality of teaching

7. are trainable and can learn hw to deliver excellent learning experience to students
8. have good spoken and written English skills
9. have healthy work ethics

Weekly teaching hours: 20

Teaching dates and time: Mon, Tue, Wed and Thursday from 9:00-14:00

Delivery format: In-person and online
