Job Overview

We are a fast-growing luxury wellness brand redefining modern bath rituals. What makes our business unique — and complex — is that we operate as three businesses in one:

  • A consumer brand selling premium bath and wellness products
  • An in-house manufacturing facility producing many of our goods
  • A Canadian fulfillment center, with U.S. fulfillment handled through third-party logistics (3PL) partners

We are a small but ambitious team, growing quickly with limited historical data, tight budgets, and big goals. This means we don't rely on off-the-shelf systems — we build smart, efficient, and scrappy ones ourselves, and we lean heavily on AI tools like Claude to move faster with a lean team.

We're now looking for a highly analytical, execution-focused Operations & Supply Chain Manager to work directly with the founder and take ownership of forecasting, manufacturing operations, fulfillment, purchasing, Shopify performance, and operational systems across the business.

Role Overview

This role is for someone who loves operational puzzles — forecasting with imperfect data, building systems from scratch, improving efficiency, and ensuring products are always in stock without overextending cash. You're equally comfortable in a spreadsheet, on the studio floor, inside Shopify, and building AI-powered workflows that replace repetitive work.

You will be responsible for end-to-end operations, from demand forecasting and purchasing to manufacturing oversight, team production scheduling, Shopify (front-end and back-end), 3PL management, and Claude-powered automation. You'll be a key decision-maker, using data to guide trade-offs between cash flow, inventory, service levels, and growth.

This is not a passive role. You'll build the operational backbone that allows us to scale.

Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Hybrid (Toronto) — minimum 2 days in studio, remainder remote

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting, Inventory & Purchasing

  • Build and own demand forecasting models across SKUs, channels, and markets
  • Create systems to forecast purchasing needs despite limited historical data
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to stay in stock while protecting cash flow
  • Lead supplier negotiations and purchasing decisions to secure favorable terms

Manufacturing, Studio & Production Scheduling

  • Oversee the studio manager in manufacturing operations and production planning
  • Create and manage the team production schedule, balancing capacity, launches, and demand
  • Build, document, and improve SOPs and processes for the studio team
  • Optimize workflows for efficiency, speed, and cost control
  • Establish quality standards aligned with a luxury product experience

Fulfillment & 3PL Management

  • Oversee Canadian fulfillment operations and relationships
  • Actively work with our U.S. 3PL partner — ensure operations run smoothly, hold them accountable to SLAs, and identify opportunities to reduce costs
  • Coordinate our existing cross-border logistics, customs, and freight considerations
  • Ensure fulfillment accuracy, speed, and cost efficiency across both markets

Shopify (Front-End & Back-End)

  • Own Shopify — product pages, collections, app stack, inventory sync, and order flow
  • Drive conversion rate optimization across the customer journey, from landing page through checkout
  • Monitor site performance, diagnose drop-off points, and continuously test and ship improvements to lift conversion and AOV
  • Manage product launches on-site — PDPs, collection updates, merchandising, and promotional logic
  • Partner with marketing on campaigns, landing pages, and launch execution

Claude Automation & Systems Building

  • Build automations using Claude to streamline operational processes — purchasing workflows, reporting, inventory updates, supplier communication, team documentation, and more
  • Identify repetitive manual work and replace it with scalable AI-powered systems
  • Create internal tools, prompts, and skills that the broader team can use

Product Launch & Scaling Support

  • Ensure operations are fully ready for new product launches
  • Coordinate manufacturing, inventory, fulfillment, Shopify, and systems for launches
  • Identify operational risks early and proactively solve them

Data, Reporting & Financial Decision Support

  • Build Excel-based models, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making
  • Analyze operational and financial data to guide forecasting and investments
  • Translate data into clear recommendations for the founder

Team & Systems Building

  • Support hiring for manufacturing and studio operations as the business grows
  • Improve cross-functional coordination between ops, customer service, and retail
  • Create scalable systems that reduce manual work and increase clarity

Who You Are

You are deeply analytical, operationally minded, and biased toward efficiency. You're comfortable making decisions with incomplete data and improving systems over time. You see AI as a leverage tool, not a threat — and you get genuinely excited about automating away the boring parts of ops work.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory management (DTC or consumer goods preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (forecasting models, inventory planning, reporting)
  • Hands-on Shopify experience across both front-end (theme, storefront, merchandising, CRO) and back-end (inventory, orders, apps, integrations)
  • Demonstrated fluency with Claude or similar AI tools for real work, not just experimentation
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action
  • Experience building or improving SOPs and operational processes
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment

Compensation

  • Salary: $55,000–$65,000
  • Vacation: 15 days annually
  • Health: Basic health insurance
  • Perks: Free bath products

Why Join Us?

Build the backbone of a brand. Your work directly enables growth — without operations, nothing scales.

High ownership & autonomy. You'll be trusted to make real decisions, not just recommendations.

Early-stage impact. Systems you build now will define how the company operates for years.

Founder-level exposure. Work closely with a serial entrepreneur experienced in scaling companies and launching products.

Meaningful growth. As we grow, compensation will continue to evolve as well.

If you're excited by complexity, efficiency, and building systems that actually work — we'd love to meet you.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5A 3N1
