Join Our Team!

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our busy spring and suspension repair shop. The successful candidate will primarily perform welding and fabrication work on heavy-duty truck and trailer suspension systems while assisting with mechanical repairs as required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and stick welding on steel components.
  • Fabricate, repair, and reinforce heavy truck and trailer components.
  • Repair and modify suspension systems, frames, hangers, and brackets.
  • Install and replace leaf springs, suspension components, and related hardware.
  • Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and measurements.
  • Safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Assist technicians with heavy truck and trailer repairs when required.
  • Perform other shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
  • Experience with heavy trucks, trailers, or commercial equipment is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to perform MIG welding (stick welding experience is an asset).
  • Mechanical aptitude with the willingness to assist in truck repairs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's licence preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
