Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Roofing Labourer to support our team with roof inspections, emergency repairs, and full roof replacement projects. This role requires someone who is comfortable working at heights, responds well under pressure, and takes pride in quality workmanship. A valid driver’s license and vehicle would be beneficial, as travel to our shop or directly to job sites may be required. At minimum, you will require reliable transportation to and from work daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with residential roofing
  • Support emergency repair work, including leak mitigation and temporary fixes
  • Participate in full roof replacements (ashpalt, rubber, tile, metal, cedar... etc.)
  • Load, unload, and transport roofing materials and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times
  • Follow all safety protocols and use proper fall protection equipment
  • Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors
  • Use of roof rippers, hand tools and power tools.
  • Clean up of debris on the ground and around the site
  • Runner for nails, shingles to keep the roofers moving

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record would be a plus
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs)
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays
  • Previous roofing or construction experience is an asset, but not required
  • MUST have valid Working at Height certificate
  • MUST have PPE (work boots/hardhat..etc) and tool belt with basic roofing tools
  • Available to start as soon as possible
