Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Hand to join our team in Peterborough and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
  • Manage on-site teams, providing guidance and supervision.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the construction process.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven leadhand experience in residential construction or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6.
  • Excellent blueprint reading and schematic interpretation skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and perform accurate construction estimating.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes within construction projects.
  • Effective communication skills in coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
