Hi-Beam is a Vancouver based Drywall, Insulation and Steel Stud installation contractor. Over the last 20 years, Hi-Beam has built a strong reputation for successfully handling all phases of commercial and residential projects. Hi-Beam Group is looking to hire Drywall & Steel Stud Supervisors to join our growing team for our upcoming projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers
  • Check quality of Steel Stud, Board and Tape
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other subcontractors
  • Read and interpret construction drawings
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Plan and make requisition for materials and supplies
  • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Prepare QAQC Reports
  • Prepare work progress reports

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with tablet use (Ipad/Android) and to read drawings off them

Assets:

  • Related training for Boom, Scissor and Forklift
  • Safety training (i.e. fall protection, WHMIS, First Aid)
