About CitiBuild
CitiBuild is a GTA design-build firm specializing in multiplex and mid-rise rental housing, plus industrial and logistics buildings. Our in-house architects, engineers and builders take projects from land to keys under one roof. That lets us move from permit to occupancy faster than the traditional route.

The role
You'll lead day-to-day construction on our multiplex and mid-rise projects. That means keeping the site safe, on schedule, on budget and built to spec, working closely with our project managers, in-house design team and trades.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors, trades and deliveries.
  • Build and maintain the site schedule, and flag delays and risks early.
  • Enforce the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA): run toolbox talks and inspections, and keep the site safe and orderly.
  • Read drawings and specs, check work against them, and coordinate RFIs and changes with our architect and engineer.
  • Manage quality control, deficiency lists and closeout.
  • Coordinate municipal and building inspections through occupancy.
  • Keep daily logs, site photos and progress reports, and track labour and materials against the budget.
  • Be the on-site point of contact for owners, consultants and inspectors.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of residential or mid-rise construction experience, including at least 2 years supervising sites.
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and OHSA.
  • Working at Heights and WHMIS certifications. First Aid/CPR and a Construction Health & Safety Supervisor certificate are assets.
  • Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and mechanical drawings.
  • Organized, a clear communicator, and comfortable leading multiple trades.
  • Valid G driver's licence and reliable vehicle, to travel between GTA sites.
  • Experience with JobTread or similar construction software is an asset. A college diploma in construction or civil engineering technology is an asset.

Pay: $35.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
