We are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. Our work is primarily located in Winnipeg and surrounding areas, offering consistent hours, long workdays, and excellent earning potential.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Starting wage: $48.00/hour
  • Opportunity for wage increases based on performance and experience
  • Minimum 8-hour workdays
  • Minimum 5 days per week
  • Consistent, year-round work
  • Strong earning potential through regular overtime

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical equipment, devices, and wiring systems in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and all applicable safety regulations.
  • Maintain strong communication with management, project supervisors, and fellow team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally.
  • Lead crews on job sites while promoting a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
  • Mentor, train, and support apprentices in developing their electrical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and manpower requirements to keep projects on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently in the field.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure and complete projects within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician Certification
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours on out-of-town projects
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
