Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople with manual labor tasks on construction sites
  • Set up and maintain traffic control measures as a Flag Person to ensure safety
  • Direct and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians around work zones
  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment
  • Keep the construction site clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the site supervisor promptly
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good communication skills to effectively direct traffic and work with the team
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety and traffic control procedures
  • Physical fitness and strength to handle manual labor tasks
  • Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different job site requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and flag person certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods of time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
