Arcanos Property Management Corporation is seeking a Leasing & Resident Services Coordinator to join our team in Toronto, ON. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Job Description:

The primary role of the Leasing & Resident Services Coordinator is to assist in the leasing of apartments to new tenants. This involves assisting new tenants with questions about apartment amenities, applying for leases, obtaining new tenants, and assisting with the move-in process. In addition, the Leasing & Resident Services Coordinator will assist with marketing the company in the community as well as follow up on leads from marketing. This is a dynamic position that requires the ability to be flexible and enthusiastic about continuing to grow the company in the local community.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of leasing experience preferred
  • Marketing and Social media experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Yardi, RentCafe and Lead Management
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
  • Weekends are required
  • Respond to all telephone, email and in-person inquiries from prospective tenants
  • Register all prospects and qualify prospects to determine their needs and financial capabilities
  • Showing of suites and amenities with the goal of obtaining a Rental Application
  • Ensure all supporting documentation and deposits are received and processed
  • Notify prospect of status or follow up as required
  • Assist with Move-In Orientation and Key Pick up
  • Preparation of daily Traffic Reports
  • Assist in the inspection of available suites and report deficiencies to the Property Manager
  • Be knowledgeable about competitive purpose-built and condo rental product in the immediate vicinity and complete market research
  • Manage and update property advertisements
  • Assist in building community and attending resident events
  • Possess a working knowledge of the Ontario Standard Tenancy Agreement and the Residential Tenancies Act

Essential Functions:

  • Be able to provide exceptional customer service to prospects and tenants;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressured environment
  • "Roll up the sleeves and get the job done" attitude

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in apartment leasing preferred
  • Real Licence is an asset but not mandatory

Salary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
