Job Summary

Join our dynamic City Centre Property Management team as a Leasing Agent, where you will be the friendly face and expert communicator guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help showcase properties, foster positive relationships, and ensure a seamless experience for all visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service, negotiation, and marketing skills within a vibrant property management environment. If you’re multilingual or bilingual, your language skills will be a valuable asset in connecting with diverse clients and enhancing our community outreach.

Duties

  • Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available properties, highlighting features and answering questions confidently
  • Facilitate leasing negotiations, ensuring terms are clear and mutually beneficial for tenants and management
  • Promote properties through innovative marketing strategies, including digital platforms, social media, and community outreach efforts
  • Manage administrative tasks such as processing applications and maintaining accurate records of tenant interactions
  • Communicate effectively with applicants to gather necessary documentation and explain leasing policies clearly
  • Collaborate with the property management team for move-in procedures, and tenant onboarding processes
  • Maintain organized files of all leasing activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies
  • The Leasing & Property Management Associate will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be instrumental in managing our properties and residents, as well as leasing our vacant units
  • Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Highlight property features, amenities, and lease terms to prospects
  • Prepare lease agreements and other required documentation
  • Track leasing activity and occupancy levels; maintain accurate records in Yardi.
  • Support marketing initiatives: online listings, signage, open houses, and promotional campaigns
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both prospective and existing tenants
  • Assist in the marketing campaign for upcoming new buildings (3040 Oxford Street (Westwynn Suites), and 5 Williams Street in Dartmouth (The Angus).
  • Host open houses at buildings
  • Work collaboratively with our marketing and leasing specialist, property administrator, and property managers.
  • Other duties as required.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in property management or real estate is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a proactive attitude
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently while maintaining professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency to serve diverse client needs
  • Demonstrated marketing abilities to attract prospective tenants through creative outreach initiatives
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail in managing documentation and scheduling appointments
  • Customer service experience that showcases your ability to build rapport and resolve issues effectively

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
