The Position

Custom Concrete is seeking experienced AZ Drivers to Haul Bulk Cement and Propane.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver Bulk Cement to all plants in the Local Area from our Rail yard in Porcupine Ontario
  • Deliver Aggregates in Dump Truck / Pups (DZ/AZ) when required
  • Maintain a clean and mechanically sound truck
  • GEOTAB Electronic Logs
  • MUST HAVE 3 YEARS VERIFIABLE EXPERIENCE
  • Perform other plant and yard duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid AZ or DZ driver's license with at least three years of truck driving experience and a clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR
  • Understanding of the Highway Traffic Act and Municipalities By laws
  • Ability to operate various transmissions (MANUAL A MUST)
  • Mechanical aptitude a definite asset
  • Excellent hearing and visual concentration skills
  • Must be able to work day shifts, night shifts and weekends
  • Must be physically fit, able to lift 50lbs

Working Conditions

Qualified applicants must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, and be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Long hours may be required during the busy season; which may include weekends, overnights and holidays.
