MEINHAUS is an online general contractor that connects qualified renovation professionals with pre-sold residential and commercial projects.

Unlike a traditional lead-generation service, MEINHAUS manages the customer relationship, develops the project scope, coordinates payments and scheduling, and provides project support throughout the work. Our goal is to help experienced tradespeople spend less time chasing leads and more time completing profitable projects.

Professionals can register, build their profile, upload credentials and work photos, and receive relevant project opportunities through the MEINHAUS Pro app.

Responsibilities

Successful MEINHAUS Pros are expected to:

• Review project scopes before accepting work
• Confirm availability, pricing, and scheduling
• Attend projects on time and communicate professionally
• Supply the required labour, tools, transportation, and trade equipment
• Complete work according to the approved scope and applicable standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Provide progress photos and project updates when requested
• Communicate immediately if hidden conditions or changes are discovered
• Protect the customer’s property and surrounding finishes
• Complete deficiencies and warranty-related items within a reasonable timeframe
• Maintain professional communication with customers and the MEINHAUS project team

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in one or more renovation or construction trades
• Reliable transportation
• Own tools and equipment appropriate for your trade
• Ability to provide photos of previous work
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to provide accurate pricing and scheduling
• General liability insurance
• WSIB registration or clearance where required
• Relevant licences, certifications, and safety training where applicable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated project team
• Commitment to quality workmanship and professional conduct

Licensed electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other regulated work must be completed by properly licensed professionals.

How Projects Work

MEINHAUS reviews customer requirements and prepares a project scope before dispatching opportunities to suitable professionals.

When a project matches your trade and location, you may be contacted through the MEINHAUS platform or by our project team. You will have the opportunity to review the project, confirm your pricing and availability, and accept the work before scheduling.

Compensation is agreed on a project-by-project basis. Larger projects may include progress payments tied to completed milestones.
