Full job description

PCL is seeking Formwork Carpenters for a project located in North Vancouver, British Columbia

- 10-Hour workdays, 2 hours overtime per day

- Daily travel allowance of $37.50

- RRSP matching program

- Paid extended benefits package

- Long-Term work with opportunity for advancement

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Good experience in the construction, erection and installation of engineered formwork systems for decks, columns and walls (Doka, Peri, Aluma).
  • Complying with jurisdictional and company safety standards and policies
  • Erecting and building scaffolding for access and concrete formwork decks
  • Building hoardings and temporary shelters for concrete curing
  • Completing task hazard assessments and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Understanding and the ability to follow safe work procedures and work within a crew accordingly
