The Opportunity

We’re building a Kitchen team for our new Legacy location — and we’re looking for leaders who care about consistency, accountability, and building strong teams.

This is a chance to be part of something from day one. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to support the daily operations of our kitchen while helping lead, coach, and develop the team. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of food quality, organization, cleanliness, and communication. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, strong leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality and teamwork. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a collaborative, high-performing kitchen culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Support and lead daily kitchen operations alongside the Chef and leadership team
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and execution during service
  • Coach, support, and hold team members accountable with fairness and respect
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, prep systems, and food safety standards
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, scheduling, and daily kitchen routines
  • Help create a positive, professional, and team-focused culture
  • Lead by example through strong communication, urgency, and attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead calmly and effectively during busy services
  • Team-first mindset with a positive and solution-oriented attitude
  • High standards for cleanliness, consistency, and food quality
  • Reliable, professional, and accountable
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required

Why Briggs

  • Be part of a new opening team
  • Competitive gratuity sharing program
  • Growth opportunities as we build and expand
  • A kitchen culture that balances standards with energy
  • Leadership that values people, not just performance
