Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety, maintaining inventory control, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

MUST be available to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
  • Manage staff training and development to ensure high standards of performance and customer service.
  • Develop or contribute to marketing plans to promote the establishment.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage food costs effectively.
  • Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
  • Supervise daily shift management, ensuring that all team members are performing their duties efficiently.
  • Resolve conflicts promptly and effectively, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning to support restaurant profitability.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and presentation.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring new staff members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices, culinary techniques, and kitchen management.
  • Experience in banquets preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in hospitality management or related fields is a plus.
