We are a family owned local small business focused on providing our clients exemplary customer service and workmanship.

At First Response Glass, our Customer Service Representative (CSR) makes the first impressions our customers will experience from us, and provides prompt and efficient customer service, both over the phone and in person, in an upbeat and friendly way. Our CSR keeps track of information, paperwork, estimates, invoices, payments, and keeps the office operating efficiently and professionally. The CSR is highly proficient in our industry specific software, and enters every customer contact, including quotes, scheduling, dispatches, orders, instructions, etc., for ease of tracking and invoicing purposes. The CSR makes sure everyone has the information they need, and carries out a variety of office and administrative duties including:

  • Providing complete reception services, answering the phone, providing quotes, taking orders, and making sales.
  • Order entry, collection calls, accepting and recording payments
  • Managing the paper flow and ensuring that the office is operating efficiently and professionally.
  • Scheduling of jobs.
  • Completing daily administration tasks.
  • Follow up on estimates, check for emails, and send and receive emails to customers.
  • Orders goods to fulfil orders and inventory.
  • All aspects of ICBC Glass Repair Program, and processing and finalizing insurance claims.
  • Any other duties to help out the First Response team and our customers.
  • Shows initiative and organizational skills.

About the Job:

Starting wage: $22-26/hr depending on experience. Regular increases based on performance.

Days/hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • High school graduation
  • Preference will be given to those with further education and experience

Skills and Qualification:

  • Deal effectively with customers.
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast paced environment.
  • Perform duties accurately and efficiently, with many interruptions.
  • Comfortably and efficiently use a computer keyboard.
  • Expertly use company software. (training provided)
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize.
  • Provide clear and detailed information to suppliers, customers and staff.
  • Maintain order and organization in and around workspace.
  • Listen to customers and team members carefully and attentively.
  • Protect confidential information.
