Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Cell Phone and Computer Repair Technician, where your technical expertise and passion for technology will drive exceptional customer service and innovative repair solutions. In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of mobile devices and computers, ensuring devices are restored to optimal performance. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help customers stay connected and productive with their devices. Duties

  • Diagnose and repair issues on various mobile devices including smartphones, tablets, and other handheld electronics.
  • Troubleshoot operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows to identify software or hardware problems.
  • Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to accurately identify faults in computer hardware and mobile devices.
  • Perform repairs using hand tools and specialized equipment to replace screens, batteries, motherboards, or other components.
  • Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve operating system errors, malware infections, or app conflicts.
  • Assist customers with retail sales by explaining repair options, device features, and recommended upgrades or accessories.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each device serviced.

Experience

  • Proven experience repairing mobile devices (Android and iOS) and computers running macOS or Windows operating systems.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex repairs.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components such as motherboards, RAM, storage drives, and peripherals.
  • Hands-on experience using hand tools for electronics repair in a retail or technical service environment.
  • Excellent software troubleshooting skills to resolve operating system issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of retail sales principles related to technology products is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers with varying levels of understanding.
