Reports to: Director of IT
Location: Langley, BC
Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 per annum

What’s
the job?

1 Business Systems Administration & Solutions
  • Day-to-day NetSuite administration is managed, including users, roles, permissions, saved searches, reports, dashboards, forms, and record customizations.
  • SuiteScript and SuiteFlow solutions are developed, modified, and troubleshot to support routine business needs, while collaborating with the ERP Manager and external developers on larger or more complex builds.
  • Core business systems are simplified, standardized, and maintained through documentation of existing customizations and the adoption of standard platform functionality where appropriate to ensure sustainability, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Sound change-management practices are applied, including sandbox testing, documentation, and controlled deployments using the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) or equivalent methodologies.
  • Responsive end-user support, training, and documentation are provided, ensuring issues are triaged, resolved, or appropriately escalated.

2. Systems Optimization
  • Departmental business processes are evaluated and mapped, with bottlenecks and manual processes identified and practical improvements recommended to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Current-state and future-state business processes are documented and translated into functional specifications and solution requirements.
  • A roadmap of system enhancements is maintained and supported in collaboration with the ERP Manager to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business priorities.
  • System enhancement initiatives are supported throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements documentation, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support

3. Integration and Data Management
  • Integrations between business systems and digital platforms are supported and troubleshot in collaboration with vendors and consultants.
  • Data synchronization processes are tested and validated to ensure accurate information exchange between platforms.
  • Data integrity across connected systems is maintained through proactive monitoring, deduplication, validation, and reconciliation practices.
  • Data governance standards, reporting standards, and system documentation are maintained, including configurations, integrations, and data-flow processes.

4. User Enablement, Adoption and General IT Support
  • Staff are equipped to leverage business systems, reports, processes, and technology tools effectively, ensuring efficient and consistent support of ministry operations.
  • User capability, understanding, and adoption of supported systems, business processes, workflows, reports, and system enhancements are sustained through accessible training, guidance, documentation, and ongoing support.

About You
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Technology Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years administering or supporting an ERP system or comparable business-applications platform, including hands-on configuration. Direct NetSuite administration experience is strongly preferred.
  • Training or certification in business analysis, IT service management (ITIL), Power BI, NetSuite, or CRM administration is an asset.
  • Comfortable with an ERP platform's scripting and workflow tools, able to write and modify scripts for routine needs and to recognize when to escalate complex builds. Hands-on NetSuite scripting with SuiteFlow and SuiteScript 2.x is an asset.
  • Strong data-management discipline, including data hygiene, reconciliation, and an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with various levels of leadership to clarify business needs and evaluate alternative businesssolutions.
  • Experience coordinating or supporting integration or data migration projects across ERP, HRIS, CRM, e-commerce, or marketing platforms is a strong asset.
  • Strong facilitation skills for discussions, workshops, and meetings, ensuring all voices are heard and insights are effectively captured.
  • Understanding of business systems, reporting, data management, and user adoption.
  • Ability to handle numerous tasks in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment.
  • You have a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
