YOU'VE GOT IT
You’re positive, detail-oriented, responsive, dependable, personable, professional, and forward-thinking. You’ve GOT IT! You're our next Senior Technical Support Specialist. You'll be reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, and in this role, you’ll be responsible for resolving challenging business and technical issues for a wide variety of clients. You'll do this from our head office and you'll be working on desktop, server, voice, and networking technologies.
Responsibilities
What Does a Senior Technical Support Specialist Do ?
- Working at our at our customers offices and/or our head office, you provide an efficient customer service experience for a wide variety of clients
- Support clients by spanning Tier 1, 2 and 3 support responsibilities including engaging external partners or vendors to remediate client support needs
- Share knowledge and provide assistance across clients as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of system statuses enabling you to propose relevant improvements to each client environment
- Work to improve processes while collaborating with other like minded IT professionals
- Develop and maintain technical materials as needed
Qualifications
What You'll Need:
- 2 to 5 years IT experience with previous consulting or MSP experience
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 to 2022, Active Directory
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting a variety of Antivirus, Antispam and Backup software packages
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting network connectivity, including inspection of routers and firewalls
- Strong English language (oral and written) along with good organization skills
- The ability to research and apply knowledge effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Office 365
- Experience with VMware and Hyper-V
