Opal Medical clinic & Aesthetics is looking for candidates to join our team. We are looking for multiple front desk MOAs. This is a joint practice of Family Medicine and Medical Aesthetics. Our clinic is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care with a supportive team of staff and physicians.

Clinic is located in Southeast Calgary (Ogden area 18th Street)

MOA:

Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program.

3+ years of experience in a medical clinic preferred.

We are looking for a friendly, compassionate and professional MOA that is able to provide outstanding patient service in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining positive relationships with patients and staff while keeping the office running smoothly.

Computer Skills:

  • Scanning, faxing, basic computer skills, web browser, EMR Accuro program experience is a must!!

Communication skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
  • Keeping a live communication with the doctors throughout the day
  • Ability to convey a positive and empathetic attitude towards patients
  • The ability to speak and understand English fluently is a must

Ideal qualifications:

  • Ability to work as a team and independentlyPossesses excellent time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience processing, labeling and packaging lab specimens an asset
  • Problem solving skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients in a professional & friendly manner
  • Setting up procedures & clean up
