'Summary'
'We are seeking a dedicated Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our team This role is vital in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems that power industrial prime movers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.'
'Responsibilities'
' Design and develop control systems for industrial prime movers using industry-standard tools.

  • Conduct feasibility, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts and other engineers
  • Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications
  • Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Conduct micro or nanodevices simulations, characterization, process modelling and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
  • Commission systems and components
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyse the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
  • Read blueprints and drawings
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot system issues effectively.
  • Create detailed schematics and electrical diagrams using AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
  • Implement system design improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate control solutions.
  • Support installation and commissioning activities on-site.'
  • Proven experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and firmware development.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and system design.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
  • Experience with Simulink, MATLAB, or similar simulation software.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in a team environment.'
