Full job description

Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software systems

-Manage and configure virtual servers with VMware
- Monitor network performance, error logs

- Troubleshoot network and internet connections, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficultiesissues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions
- Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues
- Ensure network security and implement firewall policies, configure firewalls and routers

-Provide PC support and troubleshooting
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and updates
- Document network configurations and procedures

-Ensure software licensing compliance

-Manage network user and email accounts for 65 users

-Manage network security for login authentication, VPN connections and file permissions

-SQL Server database administration

-Assist in the development of disaster recover plans

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols
- Experience with network administration tools such as ServiceNow
- Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and providing technical support
- Familiarity with firewall configurations and security protocols
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
- Ability to set up and maintain local area networks (LANs)
- Understanding of IT support principles and help desk procedures
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and their functions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
