Kingsmill Foods is beverage company in Scarborough and we are looking for someone to join our Maintenance team. Our current open position is on Midnight shift.

Job Purpose:

The position is to provide direction and resources to necessary set-up, operate, adjust, troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing and utilities equipment. To support maintenance planning activities along aming to resolving technical problems. Support other areas of the business across operations as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • responsible for troubleshooting , repair and maintenance for food processing and packaging such as pumps, mixers, filler, cappers, labelers
  • responsible for operation, monitoring , and upkeeping of equipment in the plant
  • troubleshooting, disassembly, repair and assemble
  • perform planned preventive maintenance for plant facliities and equipment
  • assist in set-up, trials, tests runs and change overs for plant equipment as required on the line that pertains to production schedule
  • communicate to all stakeholders of work such as repairs, breakdowns, monitoring and trackig
  • ensures all maintenance, repair work or new installation performed by himself/herself, third party, consultants, suppliers, contractors are in accordance to the plant procedure on GMP'S , Safety and SOP
  • complying to Heath and Safety, Food Safety, GMP, CIFA and other appilicable regulatory codes and prodcedures
  • Assist in planning and execution of plant shutdown repairs, overhauls, modifications, and equipment upgrades
  • contributes in attainment of KPI'S such as OEE, LTA, and Quality measures,
  • compliance to SOP's, quality parameters and food safety standards
  • support and participates on continuous improvement intiatives such as 5S
  • assist or train operators in identifying equipment parts name and its functionality, the terminology used to help enable them to improve in commuincation
  • provide approved troubleshooting skills , guidance and training to operators
  • attend all required training and meetings
  • other tasks and duties as assisgend

Skills required

  • Maintenance Mechanic : 3 years required
  • Millwright - preferred

Shift:

Need to be flexible to work both Day and afternoon shift : Monday to Friday and Saturdays as required on department and company needs

Hours per week: 40 hours + overtime as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
