Full job description

Machine design and fabrication company is searching for a self-motivated Process/Project Engineer that would perform the following tasks:

- Create/maintain customer relations: ie. search for new clients who might benefit from company products, travel to visit potential and current customers.
- Manage customer requirements and relate them to the team.
- Calculate and conceptualize customer quotations - assist in coordination of price estimating, design and concept strategies for proposed projects and in development and preparation of technical specifications.
- On the projects prepare quotations utilizing supplier information, cost standards and tech info.
- Project management.

Candidate must have the following skills:

- Technical competency and knowledge in automation applications for the automotive or other machine building fields.ie: assembly, testing, welding,packaging
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Self starter and highly motivated.

Company profile:
We are a machine design and fabrication company that builds for the automotive industry. All machinery is designed custom and they range from welding jigs/fixtures and assembly machines to rotary tables and robotic cells- depending on application. The candidate we are looking for will be required to multi-task between sales, project and process engineering as needed to maintain and create customer satisfaction.
