Jardeg is recruiting Scaffolder Apprentice to join Heartland Constructors at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This scope is to support pre-work and an upcoming turnaround. Positions will be starting as early as April with 6 months plus work. The shift rotation is 7 days on, 7 days off and 6 days on, 1 day off during the turnaround. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) are provided by the company.
Travel allowance available for qualified applicants.

As a Scaffolder Journeyperson you will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Communicate effectively with both staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met
- Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards
- Demonstrate safe work practices in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments
- Fully competent with assembling, dismantling and modifying System and Tube & Clamp scaffolds
- Support colleagues and participate in skills transfer
- Prioritize daily workload and manage materials efficiently
Minimum Requirements;
- Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
- Proof of hours (Over 6400 hours+) upon request or an accepted Journeyperson Ticket.
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
- Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection - Energy Safety Canada Certified
- Confined Space Entry - OSSA or Energy Safety Canada Certified
- Overhead Crane & Rigging
Preferred Qualifications;
- Scaffold Certificate affiliation is preferred
- Knowledge of isometric drawings an asset
- Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities
