Build Your Private Practice—Without Building It Alone.

Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC)

Hope’s Haven Counselling Services | Langley, BC

There comes a point in many counsellors’ careers when private practice starts calling.

The freedom is exciting. The flexibility is appealing. The opportunity to build something that’s truly your own is incredibly rewarding.

But what many counsellors don’t anticipate is how lonely private practice can become.

Without colleagues nearby, there’s no one to debrief with after a difficult session, celebrate the wins, ask for a second opinion, or simply share a coffee between clients. While you may work independently, we don’t believe you should have to do it in isolation.

At Hope’s Haven Counselling Services, we’ve created something different.

We are a collaborative community of counsellors who are passionate about providing exceptional care while building our own individual private practices. We believe independence and community can coexist, and that counsellors thrive when they’re supported by one another.

Why We’re Different

Unlike the traditional percentage-split model, Hope’s Haven operates on an all-inclusive monthly rental model.

We intentionally chose this approach because we believe your hard work should build your practice—not ours.

Rather than taking a percentage of every session you earn, we charge one predictable monthly fee that allows you to keep 100% of your counselling income.

As an independent practitioner, you maintain complete autonomy over your practice. You decide your session fees, create a schedule that fits your life, determine the types of services you offer, and build a practice that reflects your values and clinical style. Our role is to provide the environment, resources, and support that help you grow a sustainable private practice while maintaining the freedom that drew you to private practice in the first place.

Your Monthly Rental Includes

  • Beautiful, fully furnished counselling office
  • Utilities and high-speed internet
  • Access to thoughtfully designed shared office amenities
  • Jane practice management software
  • Professional profile on the Hope’s Haven website
  • Marketing support and social media promotion
  • Dedicated business contact phone number
  • Internal referrals when appropriate
  • Administrative resources
  • A welcoming, collaborative community of fellow counsellors

No hidden fees. No percentage splits. Just one predictable monthly investment in your business.

Our Practice

Hope’s Haven is intentionally focused on serving mature adolescents and adults (ages 14+). We do not offer play therapy, allowing our clinicians to focus on working with teens and adults in a calm, thoughtfully designed therapeutic environment.

Build Your Practice—with Support

This model is designed for counsellors who are ready to invest in building a thriving private practice.

We actively market Hope’s Haven, promote our clinicians, and work to increase our visibility within the community. We also encourage each counsellor to build their own professional identity and referral network, knowing that every connection you make is an investment in your future.

You’ll have the support of an established practice and a community of colleagues behind you, while creating a client base that is truly your own.

We’re Looking For Someone Who…

  • Is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), or a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA)
  • Is passionate about providing ethical, compassionate, client-centred care
  • Values collaboration, authenticity, and professional growth
  • Is motivated to build and grow their own private practice
  • Wants to be part of a supportive, encouraging team culture

Why Hope’s Haven?

At Hope’s Haven, we believe healing happens through connection—and that belief extends beyond our clients to our team.

We’re intentionally building a community where counsellors encourage one another, collaborate professionally, celebrate successes, and genuinely care about seeing each other thrive. While each clinician operates an independent practice, we’re united by a shared commitment to excellence, authenticity, and meaningful relationships.

If you’re looking for more than just an office to rent—if you’re looking for a place to build a career, grow a practice you’re proud of, and be part of a community that truly values connection—we’d love to hear from you.

Please send your resume along with a brief introduction telling us about yourself, your counselling approach, and what excites you about joining Hope’s Haven Counselling Services. We look forward to connecting with you!
