Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Part-Time / Casual

Location: London, ON

Aviora Healthcare is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our growing home care team in London, Ontario.

As a PSW, you will provide high-quality in-home care that helps seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and fall prevention
  • Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities when required
  • Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized care plans
  • Deliver care in a professional, respectful, and compassionate manner

Qualifications

  • Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or equivalent healthcare training
  • Previous home care or community care experience is an asset
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
  • Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to employment
  • Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
