Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) to join our vibrant team. As an RECE Educator, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Duties

  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities tailored to children's individual needs and interests
  • Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive social interactions and emotional well-being
  • Observe, assess, and document each child's progress, communicating findings with families and team members effectively
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices
  • Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or assistance with disabilities
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and developmental milestones using computer systems
  • Communicate clearly with parents, guardians, and team members to ensure consistent care and support for each child

Experience

  • Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with relevant licensing authorities
  • Proven experience working with young children in childcare environments
  • Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse communities
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development, and inclusive practices
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage with children, families, and team members
  • Proficiency in computer operation, including documentation software and classroom management tools
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, mentorship, and positive guidance within the classroom
