Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for clients, especially those with disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice and senior care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols
  • Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Help with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure safety during transfers or repositioning
  • Monitor and report on clients’ health status and any changes in condition
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
  • Assist with specialized care needs related to dementia, hospice, or disabilities
  • Follow all safety procedures and infection control protocols

Skills

  • Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings preferred
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques, including medication administration and dementia care
  • Ability to support mobility needs
  • Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to supporting seniors or individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility to adapt to various care needs and schedules
  • Basic cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in client environments
