What You'll Do

As a valued member of our care team, you will:

  • Provide compassionate personal care and companionship
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living
  • Support clients' independence, dignity, and overall well-being
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Is compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
  • Enjoys cooking and can confidently prepare meals by following recipes
  • Works well independently while being a strong team player
  • Has previous caregiving or community support experience (minimum 5 years preferred)
  • Is available to work weekdays and weekends (flexibility is an asset)

Qualifications

  • Health Care Assistant (HCA) Certificate or BC Care Aide Registry number
  • Smartphone for scheduling, communication, and documentation
  • Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of an Open Work Permit

Job Details

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, Permanent

Location: Richmond & Vancouver (community-based; travel between client homes required)
