As a Financial Services Representative:
As our Financial Services Representative, you will be joining a team of highly engaged financial service professionals who are dedicated to providing an exceptional Member Experience. In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to understand the financial needs of our Members and provide the appropriate advice and recommendations. As a member of the branch sales and service team, the primary responsibilities for this position will be to understand the financial needs of our Members and provide the appropriate advice and recommendations. This will include completing front line transactional services to support our Members day to day banking, as well as an opportunity to grow by fulfilling advisory sales role such as opening new accounts, offering credit, deposit, identifying opportunities for wealth referrals, as well as positioning Meridian’s products and services to add value to our Members financial well being.

Must have a passion for Member Experience, ensuring that Meridian maintains its tradition of exceeding Member expectations and “Bringing the Member Experience to life”.
The Financial Services Representative will work alongside and align financial strategies and activities to support Meridian’s internal business partners – Wealth, Small Business, Mobile Mortgage Specialists to ensure value added delivery of Member centric products/solutions.
In addition, this role will be responsible for meeting and exceeding specific individual goals and contributing towards team-based business results. This role is expected to proactively engage in revenue generating and sales-based activities, foster and deepen Member relationships and refer business to other channels.

Salary Range: CAD 50,000 to 53,000 annually
Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role’s requirements may be placed higher within the range. Your recruiter will share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.
