Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of the Protection Services Department, the Manager of Protection Services provides leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting children, youth, families, caregivers, and communities.

The successful candidate will champion trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and strengths-based practice while supporting staff to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

This role is responsible for fostering excellence in practice, supporting staff development, strengthening service delivery, and ensuring compliance with legislative and professional standards.

The Manager will play a key leadership role in advancing family preservation, reunification, permanency planning, and community-based supports that keep children connected to their families, cultures, and communities whenever safely possible.
