Admissions Advisor

SC Education operates leading Western Canadian private colleges with multiple locations delivering diploma programs in both on-campus and online modalities in the business, health, hospitality, legal and technology fields.

The Opportunity

SC Education is currently seeking to fill the permanent role of an Admissions Advisor. This role is works at our modern office located in Calgary, Alberta. A professional sales and skills development training program is provided to successful applicants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified candidates for college programs in a compliant and professional manner
  • Respond to student inquiries from potential candidates,
  • Contact warm leads supplied by the college in a timely manner;
  • Provide program information, guidance, and assistance to students
  • Completing and following-up on the student enrollment process
  • Attend occasional community events and trade shows
  • Updating and maintaining the company CRM / recruiting software

Qualifications and Experience

  • Post-secondary degree (preferred)
  • Sales experience: Minimum of 3 years B2B or B2C selling experience
  • Telemarketing experience would be an asset
  • Individuals with sales skills training and professional selling are an asset
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as a positive supportive team member
  • Desire to engage and contribute to a fun, fast-paced, supportive environment

Wages and Benefits

  • Base Salary of $40k annually plus an industry leading commission plan. Target remuneration range achieved by most advisors is $55,000 – $80,000
