Job Summary

VP’s Cleaning Service is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented Light Duty and Heavy Duty Cleaners to join our growing team. As a Cleaner, you’ll help maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment in a variety of facilities. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting.
  • Use hand and power tools safely for specialized cleaning tasks.
  • Move and lift furniture or equipment as part of deep cleaning or site setup.
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to facility occupants.
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated schedules.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in all cleaning operations.
  • Support maintenance efforts and custodial duties as needed.
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding assignments, scheduling, and repairs.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial or custodial cleaning (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of safe lifting techniques and proper tool use is an asset.
  • Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to cleanliness, safety, and facility upkeep.

  • Valid G2 Driver’s License
  • Own vehicle preferred
