Marketing Coordinator

About Abeco Group

Abeco Group is a growing group of companies serving Ontario's ICI construction industry through manufacturing, distribution, and construction services.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to manage and execute the marketing initiatives across all three companies.

About the Role:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and coordinating marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand, showcase our completed projects, and support our sales and business development teams.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, managing digital platforms, organizing marketing campaigns, coordinating tradeshows and helping build a strong brand presence within the commercial construction and building material industries.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing

  • Assist and support the updating of all company websites.
  • Create and schedule content across LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
  • Develop and distribute email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
  • Monitor website traffic and marketing performance.
  • Assist with SEO and digital marketing initiatives.

Content Creation

  • Photograph, video and edit completed projects and on-going work.
  • Create project spotlights and case studies.
  • Develop brochures, presentations, flyers, and promotional materials.
  • Maintain an organized library of project photos, videos, and marketing assets.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials.

Brand Development

  • Help strengthen, grow and maintain the brands of all three companies.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns for new products, services, and completed projects.
  • Assist in developing annual marketing plans and promotional strategies.
  • Research industry trends and competitor marketing initiatives.

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Prepare proposal packages and presentation materials.
  • Create project portfolios and client leave-behind materials.
  • Coordinate Lunch & Learn presentations and marketing materials.
  • Support trade shows, networking events, and customer appreciation events.
  • Maintain CRM marketing data and contact lists.
  • Assist with marketing materials requested by the sales team.

Administrative

  • Organize digital marketing assets and files.
  • Coordinate promotional merchandise and branded materials.
  • Track campaign performance and prepare monthly marketing reports.
  • Assist with additional marketing initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of marketing or communications experience.
  • Strong English writing and communication skills.
  • Basic to mid-level understanding of SEO, AI Optimization (AIO), and content writing.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience managing social media platforms - Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, etc.
  • Experience with Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc), Canva or similar design software.
  • Experience updating websites (WordPress or similar CMS) is an asset.
  • Photography, videography, and basic photo/video editing skills are considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google, etc.
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence.
